Hire a Professional Face Painter in Florida

I have been face painting about 7 years now and I do it every weekend. Usually, I face paint in Florida at Carnivals, Festivals and Fairs. My website is done very well and I get a ton of calls from folks I meet at events and a lot from the internet. I have a small group of very talented associates that help me with face painting. With that being said, I want to direct this blog towards parents looking to hire a face painter in Florida.

Parents, I know many of you do not really know how to go about hiring a face painter in Florida. So, you Google Face painter Spring Hill or wherever it is you are from and the calling begins. Ultimately, it seems, you are looking for the best price, when you should actually be searching for the best face painter for your party. Always remember that you get what you pay for.

At this point in my face painting career, I have heard so many horror stories from parents of hiring face painters that had absolutely no idea what they were doing, except taking the parents for a ride!

The cold truth of it all is: Not all face painters are legitimate Professionals. Remember that. You should know who you are inviting to interact with your children and what type of products they are putting on your kids faces! The face painter should also have liability insurance JUST IN CASE anything happens to one of your guests, so you are not liable for it!

So, here is a quick check list of questions I have created for you to ask when you are searching for your face painter BESIDES how much do you charge? And they are:

1. Do you have a website with photographs of you painting at parties?
2. Do you use hypoallergenic hyrdacolor paints with antibacterial products built in to prevent cross contamination of germs?
3. Do you routinely clean your hands and instruments throughout the party?
4. How many full faces can you paint in one hour?
5. Are you an artist? (this is important too! Some face painters have only trained themselves on how to paint a few dozen mediocre designs) a real artist can paint anything if given a picture for reference and should be able to do it.
6. Do you have children?
7. How well do you interact with people?
8. Do you carry liability insurance?

I know that most people think  Face Painting is not that serious, but it is. I would like to see parents stop throwing your money away on a cheap price! Remember that you get what you pay for. You work HARD for your money. Spend it wisely. Dig in your pocket for that extra $25 and stop disappointing yourselves with the "I wish I had gone with the more expensive professional"... most of you wouldn't spend a penny on Dollar Store make up so why waste that hard earned money on cheap and sometimes dangerous Face Painting? And on your children? Come on now, we all know that we would never intentionally hurt our babies so why risk it?
